Organization Capacity Building – Allied Media Projects, Detroit
Consultation on organization identity, structure and leadership to build capacity and grow this Detroit based network organization that is the fiscal sponsor for over 100 projects engaging art, media and technology for social change. Organizational Strategic Planning – Organic Valley, MN Legal, Aid, St. Paul Public Library Design and facilitate planning for over 50 organizations including for-profit, not-for-profit, cooperative and public institutions. Projects include clarifying key focus questions, working with stakeholder engagement and input, designing processes for staff engagement, working with boards and other governance structures, managing data collection and review and evaluation processes. Plans get set in motion with change processes implemented into ongoing work and evaluated for effectiveness. Statewide Strategic Change Initiatives –Civil Court System, State Departments of Health and Human Services Projects, State House of Representatives Design and facilitate organizational and cross-sector initiatives in Minnesota to address systemic and social changes. A recent project addressed access to civil justice for the state of MN. The project included designing the process and facilitating a cross-stakeholder Steering Committee to study 16 components of the civil justice system, facilitating community stakeholder meetings to identify strategic goals and help key initiatives get adopted by the MN Supreme Court. Other projects involved reducing sexually transmitted diseases in teens, increasing employment of people with disabilities, reducing domestic violence and addressing changing community needs with new political strategies. Leadership Development – 3M, Organic Valley, City of Minneapolis, Cytek, Blue Cross Blue Shield Assess needs and design leadership learning programs to help leaders grow with a focus on leading in complex, volatile and uncertain conditions. Certified to teach Interaction Associates Facilitative Leader program and Barry Oshry’s Power and Systems program. Train and facilitate peer coaching/action learning groups to help leaders integrate and apply learning on the job. |
